Maleficent, Graphite Pencil on Paper, 11 x 14 inches.
Seemed like a nice "witchy" themed piece to be sketching on Essex St this past Saturday for the tourists. You want them to be able to to recognize the character and then marvel at your talent. It worked for an hour. Then the wind came up, blew the postcard spinner over (postcards everywhere) nearly took the canopy away, and sent various other artworks flying, with only one fatality, a small framed piece. See the gods were against me, I packed up and went and had a beer. There's a story behind every piece of artwork.
