29, graphite on Strathmore 400 paper, 18 x 24 inches.

This still life, is actually more of a portrait. The commission was a gift for a guy from Hawaii (hence the lay), 29 is his favorite vineyard, and he likes to gamble at craps.

Thanks very much!  I like your stuff too!  The self portrait piece is clever.  I'm not much of a car enthusiast, but after drawing my Smart Car, all the others pale in comparison.  But not your drawings of them!

There was a Corvette show at the VA Hospital in Bedford, MA (where my wife works).  There were over 400 old vettes there.  Along with the other vets.  The fund raiser was called, oddly enough, Vettes for Vets.  You would have loved it.

How do you not get bored with still life? I wish I weren't so bored with it. Then, I could make some great backgrounds for my work.

I don't really do many still life projects.  However, I usually am listening to an audiobook, or lectures.  The tedium only gets to me when the drawing is really big.  But I guess I counter that with really focusing on capturing the the best likeness I possibly can.
